Professor Jonathan O’Riordan
Prof O’Riordan is a Consultant Neurologist at NHS Tayside and Professor of Clinical Neurology at the University of Dundee.
He read medicine at University College Dublin and pursued an MD at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square. His clinical training was at Guys and St Thomas, St Marys and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
He treats patients presenting with a range of neurological disorders, and has considerable expertise in the diagnosis and effective management of patients dealing with Multiple Sclerosis. His research interests lie in the field of multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory demyelinating disorders such as NMOSD.
He has received a number of undergraduate and postgraduate awards.
In addition to his clinical and academic practice he works closely with the Central Legal Office on medical legal matters.
