Dr. Gemma Maxwell

I am a consultant neurologist based in Sunderland Royal Hospital. I have an interest in both multiple sclerosis and neuro-ophthalmology and am involved in research in idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Another interest is medical education and I am a year lead for the new University of Sunderland medical school, where I work my hardest to reduce the prevalence of neurophobia in the next generation of doctors.
