Dr. David Rog
David received his medical degree at Nottingham University Medical School and went on to train in Neurology at the Walton Centre in Liverpool, Preston and Manchester. In 2006, work on Sativex, from his MD thesis received the CMSC Whitaker Track Award. In 2007, he was appointed as a Consultant Neurologist with an interest in MS at Salford Royal, where he continues to help assess and follow-up over 2000 disease modifying treatment patients.
David and his colleagues wrote the 2nd Edition of “Multiple Sclerosis at your Fingertips”, which was shortlisted for the 2010 BMA Book Awards. He has also lectured for the MS Trust and helped develop teaching tools for healthcare professionals working with MS patients.
David collaborates with the UK MS Register, Optimise and TONiC research groups.
David is Neurosciences Divisional Chief Clinical Information Officer (DCCIO), developing digital enablers to improve care, including in the MS space.
